Strains we use
Our proprietary, precision-formulated probiotic is designed using a combination of two probiotic strains, 46-XY1 and 46-SL1. Both probiotic strains are all-natural, non-GMO strains with no antimicrobial resistance markers.
46-XY1 is a Bacteroides species — a gram-negative, anaerobic, bile-resistant strain. 46-SL1 is a Streptococcus species— a gram-positive, facultative anaerobic strain.
Solution
Our proprietary technology originates from the breakthrough research by VP technology, Dr. Anna Lindell, and Prof. Kiran Patil (Cambridge University). They discovered unique ability of specific gut bacteria to capture PFAS, ‘forever chemicals.’ Advanced imaging revealed how these bacteria bioaccumulate PFAS in the cytoplasm.
